Muhammad Yousuf And Younus Khan banned for life

Pakistan Cricket Board have banned Mohammad Yousuf and Younus Khan for life following a disastrous tour of Australia.
The PCB handed out severe punishments to senior players in the team after reports of rifts and discord within the team had done the rounds in the team’s horrid tour Down Under.
Former skipper Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan have been banned for a year each while the Akmal brothers- Kamran and Umar and Shahid Afridi have been fined to the tune of Rs 2-3 millions for several misdemeanours besides being put on probation for six months.
Yousuf and Younus, the two pillars of the Pakistani batting line-up will never play for Pakistan again but can appear in the domestic and county circuits.
The six-man committee had submitted its report to PCB chairman Ijaz Butt last week, who in turn conveyed the ‘shocking news’ to chief of selectors Mohsin Khan.
